Spotlight: Chris Fierro
This site is dedicated to helping preserve the memories of a very special time and place in high school
history. Beyond the cherished memories of our mind, many exceptional people and events were captured in the
form of photographs.
This said, you can imagine the immense happiness I felt, when I was recently contacted by this former classmate who
served on the yearbook committee during his years at MHS/THS. I'm sure many of you remember Chris Fierro walking
around the THS campus, camera in hand, snapping photos of anyone or anything that caught his eye. I know I do.
In his e-mail, Chris told me he had "very recently uncovered a whole lot of vintage THS negatives and some prints
from (his) old days as a yearbook and newspaper photographer".
I've always been thankful for our MHS/THS yearbooks and the people that worked so hard to put them together. That's why
I feel especially privileged today, to be able to share with you some links to a photo site where Chris is currently
posting his photos. I say currently because with Chris's assistance, I hope to incorporate many of his photos directly
into this site.
This is a tremendous opportunity for all of us to see some of the great photos that did not make it into the yearbooks.
Enjoy the pictures, let your mind and heart wander back to that wonderful time, and if you feel a warmth in your heart
and find a smile on your face, be sure to share a kind word of thanks to Chris.
Chris, I'm extremely grateful that you found your way to this site. Thank you for sharing with us. Your contributions
will warm the hearts of your fellow MHS/THS friends for years to come. You are a true Knight!
